Jedi is seeking a passionate, experienced and results-oriented B2B Content Specialist and Campaign Manager to join Jedi Marketing.

Jedi Marketing is a content-led B2B marketing agency specialising in content strategy and thought leadership marketing for established business leaders and teams.

We serve business leaders and teams in various B2B industries eg. business consulting, SaaS, recruitment, small business development, EdTech (and currently branching into Fintech/Financial services).

The ideal candidate will need to have a deep love for the craft of copywriting and some form of prior experience in writing copy for a sophisticated audience, be obsessed with digital marketing trends (particularly those that concern B2B businesses eg. LinkedIn, email marketing, podcasting, webinars etc.), and possess the ability to write precise, impactful copy that moves the audience to action as well as drive the strategy and management of digital campaigns. This role requires a quick learner who can grasp a wide variety of topics/subject matter, understands business, has high attention to detail, and can work independently to deliver high-quality work on time.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with our clients’ business objectives and target audience.
  • Content interviews, research and content ideation for clients in various B2B industries.
  • Conduct content research on client industries to inform the copywriting process.
  • Analyse content marketing data to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize future marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in B2B digital marketing.
  • Help B2B business leaders turn their expertise into high-performing content (through LinkedIn, email, blogs), and help them map out content scripts OR structures for webinars, podcasts or speaking engagements. (Note: All subject matter expertise will come from our clients themselves. As a copywriter, you need to be able to pull out key themes and messaging from their subject matter and help them turn that into captivating content in multiple formats).
  • Craft objective-specific copy for LinkedIn posts, ads, email campaigns, and landing pages to boost engagement and prompt specific actions.
  • Watch and analyse pre-recorded interviews and use that to create compelling copy for our clients via their personal LinkedIn pages, email marketing or taking pre-existing video content and translating it into engaging and impactful short-form content.
  • Rewrite LinkedIn bios, descriptions and other aspects of LinkedIn profile optimisation.
  • Social media management: Use pre-existing articles, videos and podcasts to extract key insights and turn them into intelligent social media posts.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure that the content strategy is consistent and timely.
  • Possess the flexibility to occasionally write outlying content needed by our clients eg. blog posts, video or podcast descriptions, event descriptions, event and sign-up pages etc.
  • Conceptualise email sequences that increase engagement and nurture audiences.
  • Collaborate with/manage media partners (eg. designers, videographers, photographers, podcasters, web designers and SEO specialists etc) to ensure cohesive content partnerships that align with campaign objectives.
  • Liaise with clients and service providers throughout campaign planning and execution process.
  • Continuously research and apply cutting-edge software and AI for marketing process efficiency.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Writing, Marketing, Media, Journalism, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and familiarity with LinkedIn, email marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with marketing tools such as email marketing platforms, social media platforms and content marketing trends eg. webinars, events, short-form content, podcasting, blogging etc.
  • Prior experience in a copywriting role or writing any form of copy on behalf of a business/clients is very NB.
  • Prior experience running digital marketing campaigns for clients.

  • Values high attention to detail (ie. Delivers work without typos and poor grammar).
  • Passionate about learning and researching developments and trends in their area of expertise and using that to better themselves in their role.

This role requires someone who is a self-starter, proactive and able to apply critical thinking and innovative solutions to continuously improve upon Jedi Marketing‘s campaigns and that of our clients.

  1. Screening interview: (Duration 30 - 45 mins)
  • Short-listed candidates will be invited for screening interviews which will be conducted between Tues 23 July and Thurs 25 July.

 

  1. Skill testing (Paid)
  • Candidates who make it past the screening interview will be assigned a real-life task/mini-project to complete. This will include a marketing activity that directly relates to your role. All candidates will be remunerated accordingly for execution of the task that they’re allocated.
  • To be completed within 5 working days (ie. by Fri 2 Aug)

 

  1. Reference checks: Between Mon 5 August & Tues 6 August
  • For those who successfully complete the skills test, Jedi will contact you to gather the necessary details required to perform reference checks (Note: No references = no hire).

 

  1. Final round interview: Wed 07 August
  • In addition to the final round interview, the candidate(s) will also be required to do a psychometric assessment.

 

Employment offer to be delivered between Fri 09 August - Wed 14 August.

 

Official start date: Monday, 16 September, for those needing to give notice to their current employer. However, if the candidate is available to start immediately or earlier, we will gladly accommodate that.

 

We aim to complete all onboarding activities between the offer acceptance and the start date, ensuring the candidate is fully prepared to hit the ground running by Monday, 16 September.
